Started testing the PWA on an Iphone SE (iOS version 17.4.1) in Firefox. A few problems I ran into:
QA testing
Recovering from seed phrase did not work for me - when I tried to type in the seed phrase words, nothing would appear in the boxes and it would started generating more and more boxes to fill. Tried installing the PWA on my homescreen and also tried in Safari and had the same issue
I first sent some bitcoin to the wallet using a taproot address and then tried to send this to a silent payment address but it hung on the sending page. My guess is because the single taproot UTXO being spent was not a silent payment UTXO? I also tried to send this UTXO to a regular taproot address in a different wallet and it also hung on the sending page, which makes me think it is trying to find the tweak to apply to the taproot utxo but cannot since its not actually a silent payment UTXO
UX feedback
Overall, the design is very simple and intuitive! A few things that jumped out to me as odd:
The receive page does not default to a QR code, whereas most other Bitcoin wallets I've used display the QR code and show the address underneath. It took me a second to figure out I can tap the address to get the QR code to display. Also a bit strange since the icon for receiving has the QR code image
For the silent payment address, since this is brand new it might be worth having a small explainer / link to an explainer that a silent payment address is safe to reuse / share publicly? Thinking mostly of someone who tries the wallet but doesn't really understand what a silent payment address and then gets concerned when they see the same address the second time they go to the receiving screen
When sending, the wallet did not tell me my available balance to spend, so I had to back out of the sending screen, see how much I had, and then go back
Scanning UX is great! The progress bar let me know something was happening and the scanning seems decently fast. One suggestion would be to display the last scanned time/height somewhere?
