We now have a badge generator. It can be found under the status page when you click this button

I am going to close this issue as resolved. Given @cyril59310 closed #2799 instead of providing a rationale why this change is good, i think this is reasonable. If an argument is made why this would be better/neccesary, we can discuss this too.
