Document not opening #294

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click Open 
2. Click on the document I want to open
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect my document to open.
Instead: an error message comes up and the document does not open

What version of the product are you using? On what browser?
Firefox and IE

Please provide any additional information below.
