Achievements #90

Looking at Chronicled Achievements mod, I was wondering if the mod could propose some achievements for 1.0 release ? They wouldn't be achievements on Steam of course, but a narrative event (and maybe a chronicle entry) would achieve a similar effect, if the achievement can be detected via an event trigger. I've noticed a player even proposed some potential WtWSMS achievements for fun on a French forum :)

We could do that, yes, would be funny. Integrating that mod would most likely be the first step. On a bit unrelated note, I personally consider the chronicle as very boring, so personally, sorting that out first would be more important. Currently it is too cluttered or uninteresting for the player to notice achieving anything.

I can think of some Achievements.

  1. "ATILLA THE MUNS". Gain epic phat lewts the cunning way: starting as the Hunnic Empire, settle down as a Merchant Republic, and amass three thousand Gold. Why shed all that blood?
  2. "WE RIDE AT DAWN". As a Tribe, Migrate and drive out a Nomadic Horde.
  3. "THE ACADEMY OF HARD KNOCKS". Starting as any character except the Platonic Academy, convert to Neoplatonism and become the Philosophos. That'll teach 'em!
  4. "REMOVE KEBAB". Starting as a Slav in the Balkans region, successfully kill the Prophet Muhammed! (Do not change culture.)
  5. "WHATEVER". Starting as any Goth (Visigoth, Crimean Gothic, Ostrogothic, etc.), gain the Cynical trait. (Alternate title: "IT'S NOT A PHASE, SIRE!")
  6. "NO ONE UNDERSTANDS ME". Starting as any Goth (Visigoth, Crimean Gothic, Ostrogothic, etc.), become a Poet, a Genius, and Depressed or Stressed.
  7. "I REALLY BORKED UP THIS TIME". Starting as the Tribe of Swedes, Migrate all the way to India!
  8. "ROAD TRIP!". As fifteen consecutive characters, Migrate in each of their lifetimes.
  9. "SUCK IT ODOACER". As the Western Roman Empire, repel the Great Invasion!
  10. "A CANDLE IN THE WINDOW ON A COLD DARK WINTER'S NIGHT". Starting as the Iazycians in the Dacia Region, keep the flames of Zoroastrianism alive, forming the Empire of Dacia.

4 is not an achievement we can add, it goes against the Paradox forum rules.
