She needs to be changed to race="GCHIEF_LIGHT" tribe="GUARD_LIGHT", as I
understand.

That's really weird because Enraged Mastarius has the same problem.. I guess
it's a problem with DropService.Java (maybe, I don't have 100% of certain)
Because when the mob don't have any value inside the database, the mob can be
looted. If you put any item inside the database for the choosed mob (Enraged
Veille following the example), the mob show a red blocking symbol like our
friend told.. So, Java developers, please, check the Drop.Service.java. Maybe
the problem is there!
Waiting for good news.

That is only a work-around for the time being. The NPC is not supposed to be
attackable by their own faction.

Endrigo, I'm looking at R161 and it has nothing to do with that NPC.
I've been looking at Enraged Mastarius and he has the same problems. Only thing
is that his tribe and others are fine. But he still cannot be looted.

Enraged Mastarius can now be looted. But Veille cannot.

a note for this report: if the npc type is "ATTACKABLE", the npc can be killed
by both faction, but looted only by the opposite players, so asmodians (the npc
doesn't even attack her own race), it's same at Enraged Mastarius (258205), he
can be killed by both faction, but he attacks only the enemy players (elyos),
and only they can loot him.
if the npc types are "NON_ATTACKABLE", these monsters can be killed only by
their enemies, but in that case nobody can loot them.
i don't know how it works on retail, but if both side can kill them anytime,
the npc's should aggro both side, even if you solve the loot for everyone,
although i guess they should be able to die and be lootable only by the
opposite side.

And everything you said i working. They ARE NON_ATTACKABLE and so they are only
attackable by the opposit race (as they should) and now they can be lootet when
killed. So everything works fine as it should. They also aggro you. Everything
was working before but the loot.
