Can't send \ #52

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run the app
2. connect
3. try to send a \ such as c:\

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
\ is expect but nothing shows up on the other end

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
090131

Please provide any additional information below.
logged into a xp system, opened a command prompt and tried to change
dirs..had to do without using a \
