Not usable on HTC Hero #75

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
As the HTC Hero does not have a physical keyboard, it's not possible to
send any keyboard commands to vnc-server and therefor android-vnc-viewer is
unusable on this device.

Please add support for a virtual keyboard.

I added a menu item that will let you enter text to send to the application.
dev
version is available now; will be a Market update in a few days

Yes for me it works, i have the devolopment version r70 and when you press
"menu" -->
"more" --> "enter text..." you get a screen to enter text.

Maybe this could be enhanced a little bit, so that you don't have to click so
much,
but it's ok the way it is too (since it's the only vnc-viewer for android with
such a
functionality).
