Local mouse pointer doesnt work in 0.3.0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to a vnc server, with the option "Local Mouse pointer" checked

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to be able to connect to the remote vnc server. Instead i first
see the "Establishing handshake please wait" message, quickly followed by
an error box saying "VNC connection failed!"

Disabling local mouse pointer allows me to connect an all works as
expected, except i then obviously dont get a local mouse pointer.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.3.0 from android market, tried with both tightvnc and plain old vnc
servers on ubuntu 9.10
