Remove unnecessary files and add them to gitignore

:wave: Hello. I've removed the __pycache__ files which are generated by the Python interpreter and shouldn't be checked into the repo. I also created a .gitignore file to automatically exclude them and a few other file types to ensure they don't get checked back in accidentally.
