Window layout wrong after initial switch to Variable spacing #1

The first use of Variable Spacing puts its slider (to specify number of fingers) in the upper left-hand corner. Resizing the window fixes the slider placement. Subsequent switches in the spacing algorithm (between Variable and Equal) work as they should.

This is not an issue using qt_driver.
