Address Update mode and Username #21

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
When I use the address Update Mode, with the "get data from previous
address", it overrides my username.

Therefore, when I capture new addresses in the same session, it uses "OSM"
as username.

When correcting, the username should remain the one I entered at the
beginning of the session.

Ok, I see your point. But I don't think that it is really possible to change
that.
Let me explain why: the system is currently storing the LAST stored address.
This means
that if you update an address with an OSM user, then you will keep in memory
OSM and
this will be used for the next address.
Basically, the problem is to know what is the username of the connected person.
Since
we don't have a login, we can only used the last edited feature.
Do you see a way to solve that without login ?

So, I still doesn't see a nice way to do that so I consider this issue as not
fixable
