Data Import from OSM #7

This issue is certainly directed @ Jeff

Why were these points not imported into the OA-DB ?

Either because they have a different data structure. In that cas, we should
adapt the data import process to make sure these points also get imported

Or the points were created in OSM after the dataset got imported. How do we
deal with that type of issues ?

i'll have to check that.
if they were there before, I don't understand, I'll have to check, otherwise
it's
normal as the updates have not been loaded yet (and I currently haven't got the
time
to work on the updates)

it's bizarre, this data is defined as an address tag on a way rather than a
node. we
only loaded nodes. is this valid ??

That's exactly one of the key points.

OSM allows addresses to be captured not only as nodes or ranges, but also as
property
of a building.
It would be great to be able to catch these as well... although I understand it
makes
the whole process much more complicated.

after having imported the whole datafile (4GB) again, having build lines and
polygons
and calculated centroids, i got a lot more points, but still not those on your
capture,
i'll have to try to understand why i miss them ..
