From James:

SLPF is the soil fertility factor, and WFPt is the water factor of photosynthesis. This refers to equation 4-13. As mentioned earlier in the chapter, the water potential of cassava leaves is not reduced by soil water deficit. Hence, it is unlikely that soil water deficit is directly affecting photosynthesis. We have also noted that the soil water deficit (of the upper soil layers) sends root signals to leaves causing stomatal closure, and it is through this mechanism that soil water deficit reduces photosynthesis. Hence, the model should use the WFS mentioned above to modify stomatal conductance in conjunction with the VPD effect and this should be used to modify photosynthesis, not WFPt. The advantage of this is that this will also feed directly into the estimation of transpiration that is currently done by changing something in the Priestley Taylor algorithm.

I will keep the variable WFP but it will have the same threshold values as WFG.
