I'm trying to get my split air to work with this plugin. Would you mind sharing your config file so I can see where I have went wrong.
I'm able to control the ON/ OFF but not yet the temperature and modes (cool, heat, fan, auto)
Hello everybody! I set up my three air conditioning split (Panasonic) using 3 different broadlink mini3 smart devices, capturing hex codes for every temperature from 20 to 30°C, setting pseudo-mode cool from 20 to 26 and heat fro 27 to 30, default cool temperature 22, default heat 30. Everything seems to work properly.
Panasonic air conditioner acts also as heat pump, so the same temperature (e.g. 26) can produce different temp of air flow depending on which modality is active. With IR command I can send input for the right modality: heat, cool, auto and dry My question is: with broadlink plugin I can only send temp codes but not modality codes: pseudo-mode is only for graphical purpose, so, how can I get complete control how the active modality used by air conditioner? how does it works exactly? I would expect a config.json with hex data also for heat/cool/auto.
Another suggestion: what about adding a support for fan and/or swing control?
Anyway, great job with this plugin which expands the horizon of Homekit... Thank you! Rap
