sopcast-player 0.7.2 not working on opensuse 11.3 #62

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just running sopcast-player 0.7.2 on opensuse 11.3
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The sopcast-player starts up, and its possible to download channels from the
sopcast website, but when I select a channel and press play absolutely nothing
happens.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
sopcast-player 0.7.2, sp-auth 3.2.6, vlc 1.1.7, libvlc-devel is present and
accessible. I am running a standard opensuse 11.3 with all the correct python
libraries, gtk2, glade, etc, but I am running on KDE not gnome. I have no
problem at all running other gnome applications (such as banshee) on KDE.

Please provide any additional information below.
When I select a channel and press play, there is no sign of any activity at
all. sp-sc-auth doesn't start, no ports are opened or connections made, and no
errors are reported by sopcast-player. It just sits there and does nothing.
The make was fine - no errors reported, and the make install was fine.
If I just run sp-sc-auth and use vlc as the player, it works fine, but
sopcast-player doesn't seem to start sp-sc-auth.

Sp-sc-auth needs to have a sym link names sp-sc for historic reasons. I will
add logic in the next version that checks for the different names that it may
have.

Thanks - adding the sym link fixed the problem.

Now it all works fine.
