Making qtweb a 'default browser' option is a great idea! I went through all
of the options and 'help', to no avail and would change qtweb to my default
browser in a heartbeat if possible. I use qtweb a lot more than Forefox,
Chrome, Comodo Dragon, & Opera, for its compactness, speed, and private
browsing mode.
Also, it does not interact well with websites which offer internal searches
for information or changes with the # of items viewed. I cannot find an option
to correct this.

I'd also like this.
There are scripts and programs out there for this, but this functionality
natively would be better:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/akshayns/archive/2009/10/15/a-batch-file-for-setting-ie-
as-the-default-browser.aspx (needs customization, see att. for sample)
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/defaultbrowser.htm
etc

The script doesn't work quite as such, since qtweb can't handle long filenames,
but if '%~s1' is used instead (as it gives SHORT 8.3 filenames) it should work,
maybe... ;) The small program I mentioned can be also used, but after using it
one must do a search for 'qtweb' in regedit and replace all instances of '%s'
with '%~s1', probably. Let's figure this out and make it work.
