Archers in Sieges

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use archers in Siege

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Archers should shoot in sieges. Archers won't shoot at all when defenders sally 
out. Archers are very tempermental when attacking a settlement. Their line of 
sight would be obstructed by units who are obviously not doing any of the sort. 

For example, when attacking Constantinople, the walls are tremendously tall and 
if you place archers behind your infantry, they will not shoot. Despite the 
fact that they have a clear view of the defenders on those walls. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Can't replicate it. They shoot as intented. Might be worth to reinstal warband 
from scratch(as in no patching, clean 1.143 or 1.153 install).

Archers won't shoot if the enemy is too close to them(they will take out there 
sidearm for meele). So make sure they are placed far enough from the enemy.

I have a steam copy of warband, I will try reinstalling to see if it works. but 
integrity check doesn't have anything turning up
