several Freelancer errors

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Joining a lords army
2. getting promoted
3. lord gets defeated or you leave the army

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
when you go back to the lord they are supposed to remember your previous rank. 
Instead every time i go back to rejoin a lord i have to start from the bottom. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
svn version. Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

Please provide any additional information below.
It happen with the kingdom of England and the crusader states. Also there are 
some additional bugs. when you get promoted or you leave an army you keep all 
the equipment. Also while enlisted you have the option to swear vassalage(you 
shouldn't have this option until you retire).If you do it while on leave after 
a while you are branded a deserter and then a lot of things in the game get 
screwed up. Also when you leave an army your relations with the country go all 
the way to zero no matter how high it is. My relation with crusader states was 
70 and when i left the army it went straight to zero. 

*I thought it would be better to post all these bugs once rather than in 
several posts.

Something i forgot to add. with the mission to collect taxes from a fief, if 
the army you are enlisted in is garrisoned at that town, you still have the 
option to start collecting the taxes. and when your army leaves you continue 
collecting the taxes even though your not there. and a little error message 
shows up every time you collect some tax.
