Black screen error

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. i was going to defend my fief oban (scotland)
2. then the IA lord come over me to the fight, the villagers join to me
3. then i put to go to the battle, i just see the screen on black colour.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i just see the screen on black colour and not the battle

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
"the new subversion", my operating sistem is windows xp.

Please provide any additional information below.

that happen to me before in the "old version", the game is interrupted joining 
on a battle, but i find how debug it! doing alt+tab then game go normally, but 
doesnt work in this case!...

well the four time i try it was "better"... i try to debug it with that trick 
of do alt+tab when it froze the screen and for little moment the battle was on, 
then the image get frozen again, and every time i try it the same!. well then i 
put retreat and "quit without saving", but then happen another issue that 
happen to me before in this new version when i put to load the game after quit, 
screen black again and then game close!...

same issue here, i was going to hel a village carluke in scotland which was 
infected by bandits and game froze at the same way!

This is more of the Engine side problem then the mod. As we can't do anything 
other then removing stuff(like items, factions, ect) from the mod to make it 
"less heavy". But it's not an option. You can try turning off a few features - 
like shadows(which is a common problem if you get the stuck at a few frames. 
And jugging that you have to alt-tab I guess you do.), blood effects.

ok, i always played all in low!... strange dont happen me in any battle and 
just in that case...

btw when i go to the city "glashow"(or some like that the name of the city) on 
scotland with my convoys of the manor black screen game crash... not the same 
error than the post, just crash and out to windows...

now confirmed in almost all citys or castles when u arrive with my 5 convoys 
after a while when im leaving game crash at all!... its like a 50% of chance 
... 
i can play because u go quick to the citys befor my convoys reach me ... xD

and dont happen to me playing normal with out convoys!
