crash to desktop after loosing a battle and quiting without saving #207

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. being taken prisoner
2. quiting without saving
3. attempting to open the load or the save screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
game not crashing is the expected output. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
warband 1.153 with svn version of the mod, fully updated, on windows xp

Please provide any additional information below.
