runtime error #244

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. some gameplay
2. some battles
3. BOOM! Crash...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A simple runtime error... I`ve attached a screenshot.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
-I`m using the developer version that auto-updates through the svn source...
-Windows XP SP3 
-M&B Warband 1.153 I`ve also tried 1.157 but it lags sooooo much... 

Please provide any additional information below.
the game crashes almost every time... it crashes even when I click Save As, but 
not when I just hit Save... after some gameplay (traveling, walking through the 
streets, taverns, looking into party inventory etc) and when I suddenly enter a 
battle it might crash if not then it will crash the next one like shown in the 
screenshot... it doesn`t matter what type of battle...

Don`t know if it has anything to do with the cheat engine table that I  some 
time use...screenshot uploaded

Extra requests:
PLEASE UPDATE THE ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS!!! URGENTLY!!!
PLEASE LOWER THE TIME TO CREATE SIEGE TOWERS OR LADDERS!!! or just tell me how 
to modify them...

Oh shit! I forgot to mention the sound does not work at all... well I mean the 
FX sounds work ok although some times it lags like in battle for example... but 
I can`t hear any music at all unless only after some time... like when I 
travel, walk through cities etc... it suddenly starts playing...then stops 
again... can`t explain why...

also every time when I start a new game it gives me some errors like "wrong 
numbers of cities" or something like that and others I can`t remember now...

another issue is about the "Inspect your town properties" or something like 
that... this option always appear in absolutely every town... and nothing 
works...its just broken...see screenshot

some texture bugs I`ve noticed in the arena... the fighters have weird skin 
tones on their bodies different from their faces...

another bug that always appears in dialog menu when I`m traveling and I meet 
someone on the map...
like what the hell are these guys doing up in trees? lol

with some armors your knees missing in the inventory screen...its not an urgent 
matter as it seems to work fine in battles...
