Branch Pruning Strategy #61

As architect, we need a strategy for pruning old release branches across all submodules

Probably, but we need to only remove those which do not get used, so we need some way to tag those which are used so we can differentiate from those which aren't.

I'll have a think on this as I would like to double it up with release documentation
