Is very usefull to compare before and after compression/eq on busses.
schope calls it Time Mode and it has different names o other plugins and I'm not sure if it should go on oscilloscope or spectrum analyzer (or even a new plugin), but the idea is that you have the whole waveform to visually analyze the result of your buss/channel.
I miss a waveform analizer on linux.
