3 months ago Attended SQuaRE office hours and got the needed info.
Options to try (in order of descending suspected viability):
- Pull data over periodically, perhaps week, and keep our own database up to date
- Use TAP query service directly to get the data ad hoc
- Manually copying data over
And far low on that list is running the Hasura federated query at SLAC.
User story
As the DBA of the EDC, I would like for a decision to be reached regarding how the Orbitviewer database tables will be updated or how access will be provisioned so I can proceed with updating the backend.
Definition of done
A decision has been reached regarding either access the data preview tables directly or getting a copy of the SS tables.
