We don't have coverage information, all we have is a stream of alerts, each with a position.
Hello Roy, Looking at the DR4 release images it looks as though the survey stops at -28 degrees so that could be used as a check on user input. The same will happen with VRO in due course but in that case the limit will be some Northern declination as the telescope is in the Southern Hemisphere. If you enter a position is outside the ZTF coverage in the cone search the result shows 0 objects found in the cone , while this is true it is not very helpful. It would be better if is said outside ZTF or in the future VRO coverage area.
