refinements as a result of testing eg removing of Gaussian noise. Seeking advice from LSB channel on this.
performance is being considered as part of this
using HSC CCD sized images at the moment, expecting this will help with scaling up to many such image-sizes
paper text is half-written, requires some tweaking due to the refinements
other half of paper will discuss the testing
paper likely to go through LSB WG and DM team for feedback
this paper is likely to be the one which will get cited if using the proposed method

working with Oulu student to apply novel method (see#34) on VST
this will help with scaling tests
given the number of test datasets this novel method has now been applied to, do not now expect to learn more
Meetings with DM team (#34) will determine the final approach to be used in sky-substraction.
For this task/ticket, the final step will be a jupyter notebook showing the figures and the tests. Ticket can then be closed once the notebook is in the repo.

@aemerywatkins reported via email that a PDF describing the tests of the novel sky-subtraction algorithm done on real imaging data has been added to the in the sky subtraction repo at LSST:UK's Github (see RealModelTests.pdf).
