new 4.1 branch? #62

I noticed that commit c0763ed44e31c5428ac2202482e571492ed2050f in the feature/code_checker_update branch mentions M41 and php8.1 - is this a development branch, stable branch, something else?

just wondering if its safe for production ?

These were changes made in order for it to work on Moodle 4.1 and php8.1. No new features added so it should be safe for production.

BTW, we are also in the process of testing and so far I'm not seeing any issues.

Is there a plan to promote this from testing to an official release?

Also hoping a version for Moodle 4.1 and PHP 8 will be released soon- any chance? We are upgrading in two weeks and our users rely on heavily Quickmail. Thanks for all you do, LSU folks!
