Some concerns here RE: eddy diffusivity being the most different between heat flux and CO2/H2O/CH4 flux. But worth testing.

We can arrange a monthly meeting focused on H.

Or we can test only for the MBR method. Using H as a tracer flux has the benefit of the temp difference between tower levels being available at the same time as the concentration difference of the gas of interest.
