Hi. The 1 km radius OSMI is assuming when matching addr:place to place=* is not enough. I propose that you adjust it based on real-world data. I'm not sure about what value it should be, but I know there are very long villages in Poland and probably elsewhere. It would be best to determine proper cutoff distance based on inspection of all such addresses around the world.

Example: https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=addresses&lon=19.54309&lat=49.64728&zoom=16&overlays=buildings,buildings_with_addresses,postal_code,entrances_deprecated,entrances,no_addr_street,street_not_found,place_not_found,misformatted_housenumber,nodes_with_addresses_defined,nodes_with_addresses_interpolated,interpolation,interpolation_errors,connection_lines,nearest_points,nearest_roads,nearest_areas,addrx_on_nonclosed_way
Edit: For a better effect zoom out
