[Richard's point 27] Appendix C on "Minimisation of Least-Squares with an overall scale factor": "well known that the overall scale factor tends to be highly correlated with the thermal displacements" - can we add a reference here?

It's part of the folklore of crystallography, that was first introduced to me by David I think. From the top of my head, David mentions this without giving any reference in his paper on refinement in 2008 actually. However citing him for that would feel like favouritism (since it is folklore, and here we have the mother of all circular arguments!).
