Linux build #56

Makes the solutions build on Monodevelop 6.1.2 running against Mono 5.0.1.1. Consequently it also builds on TravisCI as well.

Note commit 2513eab9, where I rebuilt the gitignore. The result is a much cleaner gitignore that doesn't need so much maintenance.

I've not tested building the result in VS, though I could do so with a little more effort.
