Encountered the same thing, but I don't have Paradise Lost, though I do have WilderWilds.

The memory usage went off charts, so here's a heap analysis from JProfiler. More than 33 million hashmap nodes spawned, amounting to like 750MBs of RAM, holy hell. And I was barely able to get this snapshot, because my PC was exploding from CPU usage on top of that.
