We should probably also implement the possibility of making modcubes (i.e., modulation histograms in slices of energy).

By the way, xpbin.py is now supporting CMAP and PHA1 modes.

I believe xpbin is now generic enough that we can close this one and open issue on more specific problems as they arise.
