It can be useful to have a statbox with average and rms of pulse height distribution. Even better peak position and width (gaussian sigma or FWHM). Not sure how feasible it is, but I would still try to avoid as much as possible dependence on external fit packages. We must find a compromise.

There is a first simple prototype in place. I have a few tweaks in mind to make it mor robust---will test it. Not closing the issue fot the time being.
