Merge the radtest branch into the master #151

There's a few things that we have/might want to leave out---primarily the signed version of the adc_count type, since the master has to work with the old firmware.

Done, and radtest branch deleted.

Note that the current master still has the signed version of the adc_count type, i.e., it is meant for the new firmware.
