Paolo will send out an example of what they have implemented in Roma.

The logic would be:

we do have a Qt form with all the necessary information
at the start run the form is filled with all the information that can be automatically retrieved by the DAQ
at the run start the form is opened and one can fill in the additional information by hand
at the stop run the form is (re)opened and one can complete it and save it

The pdf is saved to the output folder.
