Nothing happens when i run the program #31

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed from the archive. It installs correctly. I checked the "Run
audioswitch" box and end the installation. Nothing happens.
2. Double click the program to start it. Nothing happens. Nothing pops into
task manager, no windows open, nothing.
3. Uninstalled and reinstalled after extracting the archive to the desktop. I
run the .exe. Installs correctly. Tick the "run audioswitch box" yet again.
Nothing happens.
4. Double click icon, absolutely nothing happens.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expected to see a GUI of some sort, or am I just doing something wrong?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Running windows 8 on a x64 system. and using the latest version, so 2.0.

Please provide any additional information below.

Samesies. It ran at first but now doesn't. I've upgraded to 8.1 since
installing but I think it had stopped working even before that.

I had this and found the settings file to be empty, a reinstall did not fix
this though. I found an old restore point and copy and pasted the contents of
the settings file back into the empty one and it worked again. Hope this helps,
good luck!

Having a similar issue on Win 7 64bit. Event viewer says it can't find the
playback device icon. Debugging points at AudioSwitch.Classes.GetIcon(...).
Checked and the file it tries to load does exist.

I am having the same issue on Windows 8.1 x64
It ran when I first installed it but now nothing happens. I don't know if it's
after an update of some sort but the program acts just like OP described.

I have the same issue on Windows 8.1 x64 with Audio Switch two. For the first
time this happened after five months of using this program. I had unistalled
and installed it again. It worked for a week. It doesn't work properly now.
