Make GWT an optional dependency #10

GWT IsSerializable is (for GWT's purposes) equivalent to java.io.Serializable.

GWT can be completely removed as a dependency of the project.
The GWT xml descriptor stays, as do the maven goals which copy the java sources 
into the binary jar.
