no files reported by the app #9

Trialling the tool on win 8.1 (note: not rt). Asking it to play files from Panasonic HDR. Which show in windows explorer, and declare type as mpeg-2 ts. However the app navigates to the folder then declares "there are no files or folders in this view". Either it is expecting a particular extension, or the file content isn't right. I suppose permissions also could be a problem. Any clues on how to resolve this would be appreciated. (including alternatives!)

switching to VLC which does see and open the file - still curious though
