Podcast playing for around a minute and reseting

Hello! Thank you for your time to develop this app for Garmin watches, it's super useful!

I have an issue. I added a podcast to my list of podcasts and synced to download two recent episodes. When trying to play the episode it will only work for about a minute (1:04) and then it will switch to the next podcast automatically. I tried removing the podcast and resyncing a few times, but with the same result. Other podcast I subscribed to works just fine and I'm able to listen to more than a minute of it.

The podcast name is Above & Beyond and two episodes I see this issue with are #437 and #436. You can listen to the whole 2 hour set though Google Podcasts for example: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9zdGF0aWMuYWJvdmVhbmRiZXlvbmQubnUvZ3JvdXB0aGVyYXB5L3BvZGNhc3QueG1s

I'm using Garmin Fenix 6s pro (software version 16.70, ciq 3.2.4) and the latest version of Podcasts (3.1.4).

Hi, I was able to reproduce the bug on my device, but I am unable to understand the reason. I will open a ticket with Garmin developer support and check with them.

This is just a thinking outside the box suggestion, but I would assume this bug is due to the length of the mp3 files.

What happens if you chop up the file into say 4 sections - that might be a workaround of sorts, just drop the files into a separate directory in /garmin/music and they should play back in order with a small gap in between parts.

(I am assuming there is no actual need to use the ConnectIQ apps per se)

This approach is unfeasible on Garmin music apps. Connect IQ offers only the options for downloading, playing and deleting a media file.

I am having the same issue when playing long podcasts. As a workaround, you can only add a single episode to the playback queue, which will still pause the current podcast, but not go to the next one. This prevents you from losing your playback position.
