massive crash/faliure after selecting charaters borderlands pre #113

can anyone help me out with this fatal failure? i have no idea what is going on. nucleus is in the same drive as the game, controllers work, using newest alpha . posting the fatal report. fatal fail really would love some help here. i cant work through this one,.
