[General] No documentation on how to actually use this software #137

Version: Alpha 10

I've tried multiple times to add Earth Defense Force 4.1 to this program, and nothing works.

The post linked to from nucleuscoop's subreddit says to place a .js file in a folder named scripts inside the nucleuscoop file. Did that. Tried adding the game with the add by exe option, a window pops up with a title that says "Split Play PC" and an OK button, with nothing in the window itself, and I can't click OK (doing so does absolutely nothing like the button is inactive). Tried adding via handlers, it wants a .nc file. Renamed the .js to .nc, it acts like it does something, and does nothing. Tried scanning the drive the game is on, and somehow this program scans a 4TB hard drive in around 10 seconds, and adds nothing. Clearly something isn't right here, and as there is no documentation for the software, I'm limited as to what I can do. I imagine this is an issue for far more than this one game, as only 4 games seem to have the .nc file for them, and I don't own any of those. Not even this helps: https://lucasassislar.github.io/nucleuscoop/ other than confirming that .nc files should be .js files with a different name.

Edit: The mod from ZeroFox works perfectly so I'm using it going forward. It works exactly like the subreddit explains to do (download .js, copy to ./scripts folder, add the exe, drag the controllers, click play)

NucleusCoop Alpha 10 is the wrong version for this game, i suggest you follow this guide for setting up the game: https://www.reddit.com/r/localmultiplayergames/comments/bln918/earth_defense_force_41_local_4_player_coop/ The setup guide is in the comment section.
