Deep Rock Galactic - 2nd player unresponsive UI buttons #140

Open gionnidamico opened 4 years ago

Bug description UI buttons in the second instance of the game are not responsive when clicked. Therefore there is no way to upgrade abilities/gear or start/join a match (for player2). This has probably something related to the resizing of the windows as it happens right after such resizing (no problem before it, and if someone is fast enough can start a match in under the 30secs resizing cooldown and play that way).

Note that this bug does not happen sometimes, or even happen to player1 instead of player2.

Way to reproduce the bug: -start nucleoscoop, using two controllers -first instance starts -NC banner warns player2 to wait for 30secs to open the second instance -second instance starts, first instance starts resizing (no problems for now) -now NC banner warns that a resizing starts in 30secs: until that resizing starts, UI buttons are fine and clickable, but after the resizing there is no way to use them ,even if they feedback the 'clicked' animation)

System and machine: windows 10 home build 1809 i7 7th gen hq gtx 1050 16 ram ddr4 using NC Alpha.8.Mod.v0.9.9.9.r4

Having the same issue, same replication steps. Really putting a dent in the co-op experience =/

Try disabling "show status window" in nuckeuscoop settings. Then delete the content folder (this might delete the saves depending on the game, so make sure to backup the files in nucleuscoop/content/game_name), and try again.

Thank you, it worked for now! Hopefully it'll stick!

No worries :) To anyone else reading this, for the "Alpha.8.Mod.v0.9.9.9.r4" version of the app, you should always have status window disabled, due to a lot of bugs that could happen with it enebled.
