Scripts don`t download - Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel #168

Hello, i`ve got a problem downloading game scripts. Tried a lot to fix it, but no luck. So i was wondering, maybe there is some repository to download scripts directly?

Error System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at Nucleus.Coop.Forms.ScriptDownloader.Get(String uri): The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

Tried reinstall Net Framework 4.7 and 4.8, tried Microsoft Easy fix to add DefaultSecureProtocols in registry.. tried browser settings ->security (select/deselect SSL and TLS different checkboxes). Tried adding Dword 32-bit SchUseStrongCrypto 1 in registry here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft.NETFramework\v4.0.30319 and here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft.NETFramework\v4.0.30319

Well, no luck.

So, my question is.. where from i can download game scripts directly? I wanted to try Halo-2 and Divinity. Lego games for four players would be awesome! Thanks. nucl_ssl

iirc this is due to some countries restricting access. Using a VPN should fix it. If that's not an option for you, you can go to this sheet, and download the scripts: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vx7GWIHAwWux0rjpOZG98tIj7g1pxFqg5XFR8m0C3AM/edit?usp=sharing

Hey, Nucleus-Coop fans!

I made a new supported games list that I hope you will like 😁 The list will update by itself!

The two main things that my list displays are: A. What input the script supports: Gamepads, At least a Single Keyboard/Mouse or Multiple Keyboards/Mice.

This is detected by checking the script text and can report three values:

  1. True = Input is supported.
  2. False = Input is not supported.
  3. Toggleable = Input can be enabled by an option inside the script but it could not run at the same time with another type >one. This feature (specific for the third value) could be not 100% accurate.

B. It also displays the specific script download direct link. In this way, people that can't download them from the app can use >the links provided in the list to download the .nc file and extract the script (follow the main page instructions).

Thank you so much!!!! Whoa!! You are a LifeSaver!! It works! And it`s amazing, i cant believe it possible! Ooh, even on my GTX650 two instance of Divinity original sin quite playable at average settings. Thats surprising.

hi i got the same problem and the vpn doesnt do the job, this link also doesnt have all the scripts , such assassins creed, just cause 2 and.... no way to fix it..... im really sad, im win 7 64 bit

Hmm, i think problem in our system. Im too on win 7 64-bit

Just tried another provider via usb-modem on smartphone - no use, but at least it`s no port forwarding problem. Tried also WinPE - but Nucleus wont start with it.

I have to try another system.. what should i use? Win 8 or Win 10 ? Can somebody tell what system are you using ? (if you can download the scripts)

I doubt it blocked in my country, since they arent too good in blocking yet (thank God).

It`s good to have this script list, but also noticed that it needs an update. For example, Dungeon Siege-3 have crash of one instance in the mansion, though author of the script said he already fixed that. Or it could be my weak system issue.

But... from the second thought list looks updated since there is fresh games supported Satellite Reigh from 1.12.22

Okay, i tried Nucleus from work computer, and finally i can see the list!!! Still cannot download, due to work restrictions, but its clear now that problem lies somewhere in my home version of windows. Maybe it because of updates, that i missed. Or some settings messed up.

System version on work: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Service Pack-1 [version 6.1.7601]

Those games aren't supported yet.

If you still get TLS errors, make sure you're using latest version: 1.1.3 https://nucleus-coop.github.io/
