Portal 2 isn't supported anymore, I think it's being re-developed again in the future.
Portal 2 has native split screen support now.

The devs are using SmartSteamEmu to re-enable the splitscreen. Plus I don't own the game, by judging from the search results, it doesn't seem like the game has native split screen support.
If you plug in two controllers or a controller and keyboard press x on player 2 and it starts co op in split screen

Portal 2 does have some support for split screen, but it is god awful. I like the ease of use in assigning players to specific monitors that is available in this application. I don't want to have to hassle with config files and console commands to enjoy the game. Just saw it was previously supported and decided to see if future support was planned.
Ah... my bad. As I said I don't have the game so I thought there wasn't any local coop since there wasn't anything on google.
Agreed there.

I'll see if I can forward this issue to him on steam.
In the Alpha3 build it does not recognize Portal 2 as a supported game. Cannot add it manually or find in auto search function. Works in older version of the project from before rename and .NET 4.5 conversion. When will it be supported again?
