DSToolbox aims at creating a framework for the analysis of Dynamic Stall based on experimental data. The experimental data might be produced using an airfoil describing different type of motion, especially pitching and ramping up.

Dynamic stall should be considered in time, not angle #2

Dynamic stall angle for r>0.05 is not well defined because maximum in CC occurs when the ramp has already stopped growing (alpha=30°).

However, we could look at the time elapsed between the passage of static stall angle and the max in CC.

There are two definitions of t_ds, from t0 or from t=0.

The time elapsed between static and dynamic stall angles follows a consistent decay with the pitch rate. image

Now we should investigate how this related to the value of Tp and Tf. These constants should be tuned manually for all these cases.
