[ ] Use the diamond square algorithm to generate a height map spanning each world tile
[ ] To avoid complexity for now, we'll render the tile flat, but use the height values as colors for a "texture" (instead of using a real texture we'll render vertices with specified colors)
[ ] Heights should be continuous
- [ ] One possible solution: Catmull-Rom splines

Update - considering Perlin Noise in place of Diamond Square (seems better for deterministic continuity between tiles generated in arbitrary order).
