Hi @Varix, yes fastago is open for hacktoberfest. So if you want to contribute do not hesitate to submit a PR.

Also if you have any ideas for improvements or functionality you would like to see in a tool like this please open an issue. I'm always keen to hear what other people think.

Awesome thanks @lucblassel , I have a bunch of bioinformatics students (masters, PhD) that I am trying to get more into the open source and open science community and trying to put together a list of projects for them...

but with the new opt-in thing I didnt want to spam repos with my students unless they were open to it
