Back to Hallway button doesn't have a opening-door sound #83

Open xchelseysee opened 2 years ago

Device name: HP Pavilion All-in-One 27-d0xxx Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700T CPU @ 2.00GHz 1.99 System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Browser: Google Chrome

Expected Behavior: When the user opens the door to one of the 3 options (Living Room, Kitchen, Library), there is a sound that indicates the door was opened for the user to go from the Hallway to the room. When the User goes back to the Hallway, it is assumed that they close the door behind them as they leave the room.

Actual Behavior: There is no sound to indicate that the door is closed behind the User as the User goes back into the Hallway.

Note: As a User, I assume that the door to a room is closed or moved when I leave the room back into the Hallway, which should make a door-closing-opening noise.

@ProjectErostribe did we discuss that adding a close door sound after the user goes back to the hallway would be overwhelming sound-wise for the user?

@alberme I personally feel like it would be overwhelming sound-wise, but I think the better person to make this decision would be @SmiJa. I just assumed that if you walked into a room the door would just be left open.

SmiJa commented 2 years ago

@xchelseysee We have decided to reject this ticket because he feel it would be overwhelming with the other sounds.
