Description

I'd love to see an official Convex adaptor for Lucia. I've just started using Convex and it's fantastic. It solves a lot of pain points for working with a SaaS db. The other real pain point is authentication. Using both Convex and Lucia is a perfect match!

The unofficial adapter library that @xixixao so kindly provided is great but it isn't up to date with Lucia v3 at the moment.

Adding new packages is a maintenance burden so we don't add adapters that don't have enough demand

That's understandable, of course, that you have to choose which packages to maintain.

Just to let you know though, that Clerk, one of the larger user management platforms has integration support for Convex. Fingers crossed that this can be reconsidered at some point in the future. 🙂

Clerk has funding Since Lucia is open source, I think it will be better if the adapter comes from the Convex team's side.

Looking from this previous GH issue I think the Convex team is more than happy to provide the adapter. Is that correct @xixixao?
